Window to my Soul

In this piece for New Territories air-breathing plants; epiphytes in polypropylene netting, are suspended over a series of cast plaster forms. Each plant is individually lit by a led light and strung up by the connecting electrical cord. The objects were made by pouring liquid plaster into plastic bags then binding, knotting and twisting them to set. Light, life giving plants and manifest form subjected to the elements create a diorama of forces that are at work on all of us.
